On September 23, the former contender for the world light heavyweight title will have his next professional fight in London Anthony Yard (23-3, 22 KOs). The Briton will box for the first time since his January loss to Artur Beterbiev.

The 31-year-old boxer recently received an offer to cross gloves with WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol at Matchroom Boxing scheduled for October, but in the end, Yard chose a different path.

The Englishman was also scheduled to fight for the vacant European title against Daniel dos Santos. The main event of the September evening of boxing in London will be Joe Joyce's rematch with Zhilei Zhang for the interim WBO heavyweight belt.
