sports pension Teofimo Lopez (19-1, 13 KOs) did not last long. A month after announcing his decision, the 25-year-old boxer told the WBO that he remains an active boxer and is reversing his decision to leave his world super lightweight title vacant.

Thus, yesterday's decision to appoint Jose Ramirez and Arnold Barbosa as participants in the eliminator for the vacant title has been annulled. Lopez won the World Boxing Organization belt in June by defeating Josh Taylor on points.

At the same time, the American challenged Devin Haney, who currently holds four lightweight belts, to a duel. Haney is considering moving up to a heavier category where, thanks to his WBO title, he could automatically become a mandatory challenger for Lopez.
