Usyk: "I am very grateful to the Poles for helping us so much"

WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) shared his thoughts on Poles' help to Ukrainian refugees.

ā€œAfter the start of the war, many Poles invited refugees to their homes. How did you react to the help of the Poles?

- I was happy. I am very glad that people and countries are helping us. Not only Poles. I have Italian friends who invited people to their place. The people of Europe and the world have united together against evil.

I am very grateful to Poland and the Polish people for helping us and our people. Itā€™s very cool,ā€ Usyk said in an interview with the Koloseum YouTube channel.
