Hearn offers White rematch with Joshua

Eddie Hearn says his team made an offer over the weekend Dillian Whyte for revenge with Anthony Joshua August 12 and currently waiting for his answer: “Negotiations will be difficult, but both AJ and White want this fight. Our plan is for AJ to fight on August 12 and in December against Deontay," Hearn told BBC Sport, adding that they are close to a deal to face Deontay Wilder in Saudi Arabia in December.

Joshua, who defeated White in 2015, posted on social media last Saturday that he was unaware of any rematch talks.

"If we can't get White and Wilder going, then we'll see what happens with Tyson Fury," Hearn added. “AJ was very reluctant, like many now, to build his short-term future on the likelihood that Tyson Fury would actually do what he said he was going to do.”
