Jai Opetaya (22-0, 17 KOs) strongly believes that his fight with Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) is real. The fight could potentially take place in August at one of the stadiums in Australia.

“I'm the best in cruiserweight, he's the best in heavyweight. Let's do it and give the fans a great fight," said the IBF world champion. Fury avoided the fight with Usyk for a long time. I have the same style as Usyk, maybe even more uncomfortable, because I have more natural talent. I guarantee that if Fury fights me, he will remember this day for the rest of his life."

Last week, the Briton spent several days in Australia, where he allegedly had to start negotiations with representatives of local authorities on organizing a fight with his participation. However, a few days later, Fury instructed his promoters to see if he could fight Anthony Joshua in September.

Opetaya is the champion of the International Boxing Federation in the weight category up to 90.7 kg. The official contender for this title is Mateusz Masternak. At present, the IBF Federation Congress is being held in Chicago, during which decisions on this issue can be made and mandatory protection for the Australian is assigned.
