Ryan Garcia to work with Derrick James

Derrick James is the new coach Ryan Garcia (23-1, 19 KOs). The 24-year-old boxer recently terminated his partnership with Joe Goossen after an early defeat at the hands of Gervonts Davis.

Derrick James has trained boxers such as Errol Spence Jr., Jermell Charlo and most recently Anthony Joshua. Garcia will now hold his training camp in Texas.

"King" Ryan, along with Goossen, was preparing for his last three appearances in the ring. Previously, the boxer from the United States worked briefly with Eddie Reynoso.
