Garcia wants to get back with Reynoso
Ryan Garcia (23-1, 19 KOs) once worked with coach Eddie Reynoso, and now he will happily return under his wing again.
Less than two weeks ago, KingRai lost ahead of schedule Gervonte Davis in the seventh round. Their duel was a box office success, as evidenced by over 1.2 million PPV sales. But in the ring, the 23-year-old boxer lost devastatingly and decided to make some changes to his team, breaking up with Joe Goossen.
“He should move up to super lightweight,” Canelo recently said of his former boxing gym colleague.
According to Salvador Rodriguez from ESPN, Garcia recently contacted Eddie Reynoso and asked to resume cooperation. At the moment, Reynoso is fully occupied with Canelo's Saturday fight with John Ryder, but next week the parties are supposed to start discussing this topic.
