Henry Garcia, father Ryan Garcia, stated that if his son's rematch with Gervonta Davis ever takes place, it will be held in super lightweight and without any restrictions on weight gain on the day of the fight. Last weekend in Las Vegas, Davis scored a stoppage victory over Garcia in the seventh round. The event has become very popular in terms of pay-per-view sales and ticket revenue.

“We will be back at super lightweight,” said Henry Garcia in an interview with Little Giant Boxing. “And this time, we will not tolerate any additional conditions. Everything will be as it should be. But first of all, I want to thank the Davis team and congratulate them. A loss is a loss, but we will definitely return. At the moment, we have done everything we could. We showed the audience a great fight that everyone liked.”

“If we had not agreed to these terms, the fight would not have taken place,” added Garcia Sr. - But my son said to me: “Dad, I felt it as soon as I entered the ring. My legs did not obey me well, but I really wanted this fight. He always dreamed of this meeting, and he got it."
