Solomon Dacres (6-0, 2 KOs) won by TKO in the second round over Robert Ismay (11-1, 4 KOs) at the Matchroom Boxing tournament in Newcastle. The title of the British heavyweight champion was at stake in the fight.

29-year-old Dacres returned to the ring after a six-month break. Previously, this title belonged to Fabio Wardley.

In the main event of the evening, Cyrus Pattinson (6-0, 4 KOs) won by TKO in the ninth round over Chris Jenkins (23-7-3, 8 KOs). The fight was for the WBA International welterweight belt.
