Kabayel became the new European champion

At a boxing evening in German Bochum Agit Kabayel (23-0, 15 KOs), despite a knockdown in the second round, won an early victory in the third round over the Croat Agronomist Smakici (19-2, 17 KOs), winning the vacant EBU European Heavyweight Championship for the second time.
