Bob Arum says the only issue that is delaying the official announcement of a four-belt heavyweight bout between his protagonist is Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) and Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) is the choice of a venue for a future event.
“We are working hard on this. This fight will take place. Now it's just a question of where it will go. And in fact, it's just about that," Arum said in an interview with IFL TV.
In the context of the Fury-Usyk fight, two locations have been mentioned for many weeks - Saudi Arabia and London. For financial reasons, the first is preferable, and the second remains a fallback. At present, the most likely date for this confrontation is the second half of April.
