In the coming days, it should be completely clear when and where Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) and Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs) in the fight for four heavyweight championship belts. There are currently two locations on the agenda - Saudi Arabia and London's Wembley Stadium.
Boxing promoters are waiting for a supposedly record-breaking financial offer from the Middle East before the end of this week. If the offer is not granted, Fury and Usyk will fight in England.
Meanwhile, Bob Arum, in an interview with Gareth A. Davis, suggested that if the Saudis became the hosts of the clash, the date might change. Before that, it was about March 4th. According to the co-promoter of The Gypsy King, the fight could take place “before or after Ramadan”, which this year falls on the period from March 24 to April 20.
Arum is due to visit London this weekend for the Yard-Beterbiev evening and meet his British partners Frank and George Warren in person to finalize the Fury-Usyk fight.
