Joshua's opponent to be announced next week

Next week the name of the next opponent Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) will be officially confirmed. This was announced by the promoter of the British Eddie Hearn. The former two-time world heavyweight champion will return to the ring on April 1 in London.

AJ will be preparing for this performance in the USA under the guidance of the new American coach Derrick James. Hearn said that Joshua will fight a right-hander in April, which rules out rumors of him facing Otto Wallin and Demsey McKean.

In the spring, Joshua is likely to fight the American Jermain Franklin (21-1, 14 KOs). Thus, the Briton will return to the ring after two defeats from Oleksandr Usyk. The Englishman is expected to have three professional fights this year.
