Kabayel-Smakic rescheduled for March 4

Fight in Germany for the vacant European heavyweight title between Agit Kabayel (22-0, 14 KOs) and Agronomist Smakici (19-1, 17 KOs) will be rescheduled for March 4. This fight was originally scheduled for January 28th.

Previously, Peter Kadira was supposed to fight for the EBU belt, who recently unexpectedly lost ahead of schedule and lost his position as number one contender. The last holder of this title was Joe Joyce.

Kabayel has not been very active in recent years and has an average of one fight per year. In the past, the 30-year-old boxer was already a European champion. He won the title in 2017 and defended it three times.
