Frank Warren, promoter Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs), from the very beginning did not believe in the December fight with Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs), and now does not believe that it will happen in the new year.

At some point, it seemed that Fury and Joshua could fight on December 3, but in the end, the WBC heavyweight champion ended the trilogy with Derek Chisora (TKO 10). Now negotiations are being completed to unify all belts with Oleksandr Usyk (20-0, 13 KOs), and, as the head of the Queensberry Promotions group previously admitted, this will be a two-fight contract, with the possibility of a rematch for the loser.

“Joshua still hasn’t confirmed the name of his new coach, so how was he supposed to fight on December 3rd? I don't know if he found it, and frankly, I don't care. We have plans for this year, and I don't see Joshua in them, especially since we have already lost a lot of time because of him. I don't see Fury fighting Joshua this year, but if Joshua really wants a tough fight, we can put Daniel Dubois or Joe Joyce against him," Warren said.

Daniel Dubois (19-1, 18 KOs) and Joe Joyce (15-0, 14 KOs) are also contract boxers with Queensberry Promotions. Daniel is the mandatory challenger for the WBA title, and Joyce is the challenger for the WBO.
