WBC gives Fury-Usyk green light

The World Boxing Council (WBC) announced in an official announcement that the world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) in the near future should not make mandatory title defenses and can focus on the fight for the absolute championship with Oleksandr Usyk (20-0.13 KO).

At the same time, it was announced that the mandatory challenger for the winner of the Fury-Usyk fight will determine the final eliminator with the participation of Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) and Andy Ruiz Jr. (35-2, 22 KOs).
