Eddie Hearn in an interview with DAZN revealed his idea of continuing a career Anthony Joshua (24-3, 22 KOs) after two losses against Oleksandr Usyk and the loss of heavyweight championship belts.
“He wants to come back with a top 15 fight, then maybe a fight with Dillian Whyte in the summer, and then a mega fight with Deontay Wilder. The plan is to rebuild him so he can become a three-time world champion,” Hearn said.
“It’s nice to be brave, listen to Twitter, get in the ring and fight Wilder, but our plan has to be smarter,” Hearn added. “Now we have three or four potential rivals. Anthony is ready to start training and can do it this week. The most important thing is that this year he will have three fights.”
