Three possible dates for the Stanionis-Ortis fight

On February 25 in Texas, March 11 in Los Angeles or March 25 in Las Vegas, a fight for the regular WBA welterweight belt between Virgil Ortiz (19-0, 19 KOs) and Eimantas Stanionis (14-0, 9 KOs).

On Monday, Golden Boy Promotions won the tender to host this fight. The winning bid was $2.3 million.

The Lithuanian will earn $1.7 million for this fight. Ortiz will be paid $575,000 according to a 75-to-25 split of the total proposed fee. The fight will be broadcast on the DAZN streaming service.
