Jaime Munguia (41-0, 33 KOs) has no particular desire to fight Zhanibek Alimkhanuly (13-0, 8 KOs). The boxer from Kazakhstan is the holder of the world middleweight title according to the WBO, which appointed Munguya as a mandatory contender for the championship fight. However, the Mexican refused this status and the championship fight.

“So you still doubt that I am a nightmare for the rest of the middleweights? At the moment, I'm not even a nightmare, but the real king of this weight limit. Where have the other champions gone, where are all the stars? I just hope that Bob Arum will find me a really serious rival, ”Alimkhanuly says in one of the social networks.

It is not yet known what further steps Munguia will take. However, he has recently been criticized for choosing his opponents, and this decision is unlikely to silence those voices.
