WBO super lightweight champion Josh Taylor (19-0, 13 KOs) will face Jack Catterall (26-1, 13 KOs) in March. This was reported by American journalist Dan Raphael.
Their first duel took place in February of this year. After twelve rounds, the judges recorded a controversial victory for Taylor, who at that time also held the WBC, IBF and WBA championship belts.
Most recently, Taylor has lost three titles due to being unable to fight mandatory challengers nominated by sanctioning organizations. The rematch with Catterall should be a farewell to the Scot with a weight limit of up to 63.5 kg.
