On Saturday evening at Matchroom Boxing in a fight in the heavyweight category, a recent contender for the WBC belt Dillian Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs) will face the undefeated Jermain Franklin (21-0, 14 KOs). According to Tyson Fury, who recently had the opportunity to spar with Franklin and defeated White in a championship fight in April, the American, although doomed to failure by the bookies, can successfully counter the Body Snatcher.

“I don’t think it’s a mismatch at all, it’s just that White is a good boxer. They are among the top five in the world, although they went through very hard fights. Franklin is definitely fresh, so if he's good, combinational, proactive and good heading, he can create problems for Dillian," Fury said.

The Gypsy King also added that he was not entirely happy with Franklin's work ethic: "Jermain is a really good boxer, but unfortunately, like most American heavyweights, he is lazy and needs to be highly motivated by his trainers."
