Jared Anderson (12-0, 12 KOs), America's new heavyweight hopeful and potential next world champion, climbed to number 15 in the WBC rankings, theoretically gaining the title contender.

The 23-year-old made a name for himself in early 2020 when he appeared at Tyson Fury's training camp, after which it was revealed that he had become the Englishman's main sparring partner ahead of his rematch with Deontay Wilder.

In the next fight, Anderson will face a serious test. On December 10, he will return to the ring of the famous Madison Square Garden in New York on the undercard of the Teofimo Lopez vs. Jose Pedraza fight. Anderson's opponent will be the experienced and strong Jerry Forrest (26-5-2, 20 KOs).

Today, Forrest is only thirty-fifth in the WBC rankings, but he has many strong fights and serious trials behind him. He is best known for his draws with Zhang Zhilei and Michael Hunter.
