“He says he will knock me out. I love such conversations, they turn me on, ”says Dillian Whyte (28-3, 19 KOs), who in exactly two weeks will cross his gloves with Jermain Franklin (21-0, 14 KOs).

“A fight with an invincible opponent is always something difficult, because such a person has not yet experienced the bitterness of defeat and does not want to experience it. Such a boxer also has self-confidence, so there should be a good fight, ”said a recent contender for the WBC belt about a meeting with sparring partner Tyson Fury.

Earlier, Eddie Hearn announced that the winner of the Dillian vs. Franklin fight is likely to be Anthony Joshua's March opponent, who is set to return after two straight losses to Oleksandr Usyk (24-3, 22 KOs). And this is another incentive for an Englishman born in Jamaica.

“I would like to be remembered as a man who fought all the best of his era. Therefore, after the victory over Franklin, I would like a rematch with Fury and Joshua, as well as fights with Wilder and Usyk. I don’t know how much serious career I have left and how much my body can withstand, but for now I feel fresh and young. My advantage now is that I almost never had an amateur career. Previously, there were minuses in this, because I was inexperienced, today there are pluses, because my body was less depleted, ”White concluded.
