Yerbosynuly in a coma after the fight with Morrell

Aidos Yerbosynuly (16-1, 11 KOs) was put into a pharmacological coma and is in a Minneapolis hospital after Saturday's fight with David Morrell (8-0, 7 KOs). This is reported by the American media. The fight ended with the victory of the Cuban by technical knockout in the twelfth round.

The fight was one-sided from the first gong, and an athlete from Kazakhstan missed more than 200 blows during the fight. In the twelfth round, 30-year-old Yerbosynuly hit the floor twice until referee Tony Wicks stopped the fight. According to Ronnie Shields, Morrell's trainer, the one-sided fight could have been stopped in the eighth round.

The undefeated boxer from Kazakhstan was hospitalized immediately after the end of the fight. At stake was the regular WBA super middleweight championship belt.
