George Warren, who runs Queensberry Promotions with his father Frank, confirmed Eddie Hearn's speculation yesterday that the December 3rd bout between Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 23 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (24-3 KO, 22 KO) will not.
Warren Jr. blamed Joshua's team for the failure of the negotiations: “We just didn't get a response from them. There was no determination on their part to support us and continue negotiations.”
In this situation, Tyson Fury will fight another opponent on December 3, perhaps Derek Chisora or Manuel Charr. Anthony Joshua is scheduled to enter the ring on December 17th.
