Joe Joyce: Joshua could lose to Usyk by KO

Former World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) was abused in May by drunken college students who vulgarly accused him of avoiding a fight with Tyson Fury. After that, AJ burst into the student room and gave the young people a whole lecture on the topic of proper behavior with elders. Such an act clearly did not please his compatriot Joe Joyce (13-0, 12 KOs).

“Joshua said all these pseudo-philosophical things, but it sounded feigned. When he leaves the role, it is clear that something is buzzing in his head. He can't stand the pressure, he attacked these students in vain. Their behavior should not bother him, all subsequent mockery of them is unnecessary, ”said Joyce, vice-champion of the Olympic Games in Rio, in an interview with IFL TV.

“Robert Garcia, I think this is a good choice for him. He is more of an attacking coach, and I think it should fit, but he has very little time to work with him before the rematch with Usyk, ”Joyce commented on the choice of a new coach for his compatriot.

“Usyk has already beaten him before, so he will have an advantage and he will know what to do to do it again and he will not lead like Andy Ruiz, eat a lot of Snickers bars and gain weight. There is a war in his country, but they say that he did not stop training. So he will be in good shape,” Joyce said.

“He will know exactly what to do to beat Joshua again. Joshua has to fight the way the first fight should have been and correct his mistakes. I don't know, but maybe this time Usyk will be able to knock out Joshua. We'll see how the fight goes," Joyce said.

"Juggernaut" Joyce is set to return on July 2 in London, where he will face Christian Hammer. On the other hand, Joshua, the London Olympic champion, is preparing for a rematch with his last year's offender Oleksandr Usyk. The fight between Usyk and Joshua II is scheduled for August 20 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
