Former World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs) will be preparing for the rematch scheduled for August with Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) under new coach Robert Garcia. Promoter Joshua Eddie Hearn, organizer of the aforementioned August evening in Saudi Arabia, meanwhile shared his prediction for the main event of the evening.
“I’m telling you now, my prediction for this match is Joshua win by knockout,” according to Hearn, AJ will knock out Usyk by the end of the sixth round.
Recall that after the defeat of the Briton in September last year and the loss of the IBF, WBA and WBO belts, he had long thought about changing his coach. Robert McCracken's successor will eventually be the aforementioned Robert Garcia, whom Joshua met a few months ago while traveling in the US. Now Garcia is going to work with Joshua in England.
Robert Garcia is a former world featherweight champion who is known as the coach of many world champions, including his brother Mikey Garcia, Filipino Nonito Donaire and Argentinean Marcos Maidana. A hallmark of Garcia's boxers is usually attacking and aggressive boxing, not devoid of technical finesse.
