IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) wrote down an appeal to Ukrainians and Russians, trying to explain to the latter who they were actually conducting a "military operation" with. “I am proud that I am Ukrainian,” Usyk signed his post.

“You are the most powerful people in the world. I'm proud that I'm Ukrainian. I want to tell you: “Dakuyu, you are power!” Usyk addressed the Ukrainians.

“And now I want to say that other people understand me. You are not at war with our government, not with our army. You are at war with the nation. This is our land. We are at home here. And we didn't come to you. We don't need to be freed. We will free ourselves," Usyk added.
