Years of rivalry and rivers of insults against each other have led Chris Eubank Jr. and Liam Williams to Saturday's fight in Cardiff, Wales, in which Eubank sent Williams to the floor four times, but could not or did not want to finish the fight ahead of schedule.

“I wanted to teach this man a lesson, he said pretty threatening things to me on the eve of this fight,” Eubank said after the fight. - I wanted to punish him - I didn't want to knock him out in one round, I wanted to punish him. Headbutts, headbutts... I'm surprised he wasn't disqualified. But I took it like a man and punished him as I promised."

“It was an interesting fight. I think that I proved to some of the critics the other side of me. I did not feel any danger, I was ready to step on the gas at any moment of the battle, and he would have been gone. But in this game there are lines that should not be crossed. Don't talk about guys who can punch you in the face."
