Final negotiations on organizing a fight for four heavyweight belts in Saudi Arabia between Tyson Fury (31-0-1, 22 KOs) and Oleksandr Usyk (19-0, 13 KOs) could last 11 hours.
According to Mike Coppinger of ESPN, citing anonymous sources, Saudi investors were ready to invest $155 million in this venture, some of which would have ended up in their pockets. Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (24-2, 22 KOs), who, in exchange for financial compensation, were to temporarily waive their championship claims against Fury and Usyk, respectively.
Now, due to the failure of the negotiations, most likely, Fury will meet White, promotional bidding for this fight is scheduled for today, and Joshua will enter the ring with Usyk for the second time.
