Bivol-Salamov on December 11 in Russia

December 11 in Yekaterinburg, Russia, the WBA light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol (18-0, 11 KOs) will fight Umar Salamov (26-1, 19 KOs).

This will be Bivol's second performance this year. The Russian returned to the ring in May after a long layoff, beating Craig Richards on points.

Salamov was recently scheduled to fight WBO champion Joe Smith Jr. The fight was supposed to take place in October this year, but first the American was diagnosed with the coronavirus, and then the Russian had problems with US visa.
