Currently, Whyte's team, which is the mandatory contender for the championship belt, is trying to get the WBC to change the proposed split of the winning bid in a possible championship tender, which is now 80-20 in favor of Fury.
“Whyte may face Fury as a voluntary defense, but not for what he thinks he deserves. It will be up to the WBC to decide, but we won't mind,” Warren said.
