Munguia and Rosado at weigh-in

Jaime Munguia (37-0, 30 KOs) and Gabriel Rosado (26-13-1, 15 KOs) met the middleweight limit at the official weigh-in ceremony in Anaheim. Fighters will challenge the WBO Intercontinental belt. On the scales, Munguia showed 160, Rosado was 159½.

The 24-year-old Mexican in his last performance defeated Kamil Szeremeta, who agreed to fight, replacing Maciej Sulecki. On the same evening, Rosado sensationally knocked out Bektemir Melikuziev. If he wins, Munguia will play a WBC middleweight eliminator with Sergiy Derevyanchenko early next year. If Munguia defeats the Ukrainian, he will become a mandatory challenger for Jermall Charlo. The duel Munguia-Rosado will be broadcast on the DAZN platform.
