Davis and Romero promise a war in the ring

The explosive Gervonta Davis (25-0, 24 KOs) is set for another pay-per-view fight on December 5 in Los Angeles. The American will be opposed by his compatriot Rolando Romero (14-0, 12 KOs). They're a punching bag boxer and promise to put up a real war in the ring.

"Romero will regret signing his contract. I will punish him as long as this fight goes on. Everyone knows I end my fights with a knockout, so buy your tickets or pay for the broadcast. I will shine in Los Angeles like the stars of Hollywood, I will be ready for the big show," promised "Tank" Davis.

Recall that in his only fight this year in June, Davis defeated Mario Barrios by technical knockout to win the WBA "regular" super lightweight championship belt. The American also has the WBA regular lightweight championship belt, and it will be a bet in the fight against "Rollie" Romero, incidentally, a boxer from the same stable as Gervonta - Mayweather Promotions. There has been a lot of tension in the Davis-Romero relationship for a long time, which will certainly be used in the progression of the fight.

"Gervonta will be brutally knocked out. And whoever thinks otherwise, let them go to hell. This will all end in the first round. He will try to hit me, but I hit harder than him and I have better technique," said Romero, who has fought twice this year and won twice early: Romero defeated Avery Sparrow in January and Anthony Yigit in July, defending the interim WBA lightweight title.
