Whyte gets injured, fight with Wallin is cancelled

British tabloid The Sun reports that Dillian Whyte (28-2, 19 KOs) suffered a shoulder injury during training and his scheduled bout against Otto Wallin (22-1, 14 KOs) in London as well as the entire boxing night has been cancelled.

Alen Babic (7-0, 7 KOs) was also scheduled to fight Eric Molina (28-7, 20 KOs) that night, as well as a meeting between recent WBA bantamweight title challenger Craig Richards (16-2-1, 9 KOs) and Marek Matija (20-2-2, 9 KOs).

It is not yet known whether the Whyte-Wallin bout will be rescheduled, or whether Dillian will go straight into more interesting negotiations with WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, who scored an early victory over Deontay Wilder on October 9 in Las Vegas.
