WBC #12, WBA #13 heavyweight Arslanbek Makhmudov (13-0, 13 KOs) defeated Erkan Teper (21-4, 13 KOs) in the main event of the evening in Quebec City. The NABA and NABF heavyweight belts were on the line in the meeting.
The Russian traditionally was quick to come forward and in less than two minutes of the bout after very accurate side kick sent his opponent to the floor. The German quickly rose up, but soon he was back on the scoresheet.
At the end of the opening round, Teper was once again on the ring floor, this time after a left hook. The boxer from Germany did not make it to the second round. It was the second victory of Russian boxer this year.
