Oleksandr Usyk (18-0, 13 KOs) explained his new image in an interview with IFL TV. It turns out that the heavyweight belt contender before his championship fights with Anthony Joshua (24-1, 21 KOs) has borrowed lessons from Ukrainian history again in his style.

"In the 17th century there were Ukrainian warriors called Cossacks," explained Usyk, who shaved his head and trimmed his mustache. Traditionally stingy with words, Usyk admitted he didn't analyze his opponent's open workout on Tuesday.

"I don't think about it at all, he's probably in good physical shape, we'll see how he does on Saturday," Usyk said. "Anthony is a superstar, he's very famous, even old people in our country know him."

The clash of Anthony Joshua and Alexander Usyk will be the main event of the Matchroom Boxing evening in London this coming Saturday.
