Shavkat Rakhimov (15-0, 12 KO) is infected with the coronavirus and will not be able to take part in the fight against IBF World Featherweight Champion Joseph Diaz Jr. (31-1, 15 KO), which will take place on February 13. The duel was to be one of the main events of the Golden Boy Promotions evening organized in Indio.

Diaz's camp is looking for a rival, and Tevin Farmer is happy to go to a duel with him. Rakhimov is the official contender for the belt of the International Boxing Federation, which means that he will receive a fight for the title, but at a later date.

Diaz has owned the International Boxing Federation belt since last January, when he defeated Farmer. The rematch was supposed to take place in the summer, but the contract for organizing the second fight has expired. There will also be a fight for the WBO super middleweight belt between Patrick Teixeira and Brian Castano during the February evening.
