On December 12, at a boxing evening in Las Vegas, the former featherweight champion Shakur Stevenson (14-0, 8 KOs) will have his next fight. The name of his rival has not been officially confirmed yet.

In the main event of this evening, Miguel Berchelt and Oscar Valdez were supposed to meet, but the fight was postponed to the next year. Burchelt has been infected with coronavirus and will not be able to train in the coming weeks.

Stevenson, 22, last fought in June, defeating Felix Caraballo by TKO. For this performance, the fighter from the United States earned 400 thousand dollars. In July, Stevenson left the featherweight title vacant and automatically became the official contender for the WBO super featherweight belt.

Also on this evening, Felix Verdejo will fight Masayoshi Nakatani. The 27-year-old Puerto Rican last fought in July, and this will be his third fight this year.
