Former IBF cruiserweight champion Yoan Pablo Hernandez (29-1, 14 KOs) has decided to return to the ring after six years of retirement and will face an unnamed opponent at a boxing night in Magdeburg on August 22.
Hernandez, 35, last fought in 2014 when he defeated Firat Arslan on points. A few months later, the champion, who received numerous injuries, announced the end of his sporting career.
Currently, Hernandez weighs about 230 pounds, but, as he himself assures, after several fights he will be ready to challenge the reigning champions of the heavyweight division.
