Agit Kabayel (20-0, 13 KOs) defeated Evgenios Lazaridis (16-3, 10 KOs) via unanimous decision in the main event of the evening in Magdeburg, Germany. After ten rounds the judges counted it 100-90, 99-91 and 98-92 in favor of the boxer with a German passport, who eventually won the belt of the WBA Continental heavyweight champion.
From the very beginning, the fight was dictated by Kabayel, who pressed his opponent in the defensive mode and looked for luck in strong punches at the middle distance. Lazaridis tried to counter the advancing enemy, but his counterattacks rarely reached the goal.
On the same evening, another 23-year-old heavyweight Peter Kadiru (8-0, 3 KOs) from Germany won by TKO in the third round over Evgeny Buchmüller (16-6, 13 KOs).
