The fight from the very first bell turned out to be one-sided. Meyer, 30, was definitely faster than her rival, and kept spinning her to the left. Mayer in the next fight may fight for the featherweight champion title.
At the same evening, lightweight Ruben Cerver defeated Clay Burns by unanimous decision. After six rounds, the judges scores were 58-56 twice and 59-54.
