Boxing returns to USA: Stevenson gets KO victory

WBO featherweight champion and silver medalist of the 2016 Olympic Games in the US team Shakur Stevenson (14-0, 8 KOs) stopped Felix Caraballo (13-2-2, 9 KOs) in the sixth round in the main non-title fight of the evening on Tuesday night within The Bubble at the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas. Stevenson scored knockdowns in the first and sixth rounds with his body punches. The time was 1:31 of the sixth.

Undefeated heavyweight Jared “The Big Boy” Anderson (4-0, 4 KOs) stopped Johnny Langston (8-3, 3 KOs) in the third round. Langston fell under a barrage of enemy punches. The time was 1:55. Anderson recently acted as Tyson Fury's main sparring partner before his rematch with Deontay Wilder.

Undefeated heavyweight Guido “Gladiator” Vianello (7-0, 7 KOs), the Italian Olympian in 2016, won by knockout in the first round over Don Hainsworth (16-4-1, 14 KOs). The crushing right hand became decisive in this duel at 2:11.

Two-time Olympic champion Robeisy Ramirez (3-1, 3 KOs) defeated Yuri Andujar (5-4, 3 KOs) in the first round. In less than three minutes, Andujar visited the floor twice and the fight was stopped at 0:54.

Middleweight Kuatavios Cash (12-2, 7 KOs) won by unanimous technical decision after six rounds over Calvin Metcalf (10-4-1, 3 KOs). The fight was stopped at the beginning of the sixth round due to the cut of Metcalf received from a head-on collision. The scores were: 60-54, 60-55 and 59-55.
