Shakur Stevenson (13-0, 7 KOs) will fight without his head coach Kay Korom during a Top Rank boxing event on Tuesday night in Las Vegas. Koroma was expelled from the team because in recent days he had contacts with Mikaela Mayer, whose test for coronavirus was positive.

The safety protocol at Bob Arum's events provides that even with a negative coronavirus test, Koroma will not be able to participate in the event. In this situation, Edward Jackson will be the main person in the corner of Stevenson during the fight.

On Tuesday the American will face Felix Caraballo (13-1-2, 9 KOs). All boxers who enter the ring at the first Top Rank tournament after a break of the pandemic will pass coronavirus tests again on Tuesday.
