In the main event of the evening at Fantasy Springs local underdog Andrew Cancio (20-4-2, 15 KOs) overcame a bad knockdown in the opening round to shockingly knock out undefeated WBA super featherweight champion Alberto Machado (21-1, 17 KOs), nicknamed “El Explosivo,” at 2:16 of the fourth round. Machado was down 3 times in the 4th and the referee waved the fight over.
