Chuprakov lost to Ito

In the main event of the evening at the Ota City arena in Tokyo, Japan, the WBO super featherweight champion Masayuki Ito (25-1-1, 13 KO) successfully defended his title, winning a TKO victory over the previously undefeated Yevgeny Chuprakov (20-1 , 10 KO). The Russian boxer's corner refused to continue at the end of the 7th round after a very one-sided bout. The time was 2:11.
