Berinchyk scores a stoppage victory over Cristobal

In the main event of the evening in Brovary, Ukraine, Olympic silver medalist Denys Berinchyk (10-0, 7 KOs) scored another victory as a pro, stopping Rosekie Cristobal (15-3, 11 KOs) from the Philippines in the seventh round. Berinchyk won the vacant WBO international lightweight title.

In the third round, Cristobal was on the floor after the right hook, but fell mainly because he stood front on his feet.

In the fourth round, Berinchyk gave the enemy a one-sided beating, but referee Viktor Fesechko did not dare to intervene the battle. The situation repeated in the seventh round, when at the end of the round Berinchyk locked Cristobal in the corner and after a very long attack, he forced the referee to stop the bout.

Berinchyk walked out for the in the costume of Mario the computer hero.
