"The IOC Executive Committee was concerned about the situation in AIBA from different points of view, there are management issues. The financial statements were not sufficiently transparent, there are still questions regarding anti-doping and arbitration, so we asked AIBA to submit a full report by the end of January. A general assembly will be held, and we would like to see concrete measures on the part of AIBA to resolve these issues," Bach said.

"Until the situation changes, the IOC will not make financial contributions to AIBA. The talks on sports and technical issues will be continued in order to prepare for the upcoming Youth Games," the IOC president concluded.
