Cherkashin successfully returned to the ring

Fedor Cherkashin (23-1, 14 KOs) defeated Jairo Delgado (11-2, 8 KOs) by unanimous decision in the fight preceding the main event of KnockOut Boxing Night 33 in Bialystok, Poland.

Cherkashin dictated the fight from the very beginning, he controlled the pace of the fight, drove his opponent to the ropes and looked for opportunities to deliver power blows. Cherkashin was active, threw a lot of punches and tried to finish the fight early.

Delgado tried to respond with chaotic counterattacks, but was ineffective in his actions. After eight rounds, the judges gave victory to the Ukrainian with a Polish passport 79-73 and twice 80-72. Thus, Cherkashin successfully returned to the ring after his first professional defeat at the hands of Anauel Ngamissenge in August last year.
