Ukrainian trainer Korch: “I think Fury’s cut is real”

Alexander Korkh, a famous Ukrainian coach, shared his opinion about the dissection of the WBC heavyweight title holder Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) and the postponement of the fight for the title of absolute world champion from Alexander Usik (21-0, 14 KOs).

“To be honest, I didn’t expect that Tyson Fury would not be able to fight Alexander Usik. But in sparring anything can happen, everything happens, those who have prepared understand this perfectly well. Trauma can happen at any time. Based on the photos and videos that we saw, I think this cut is real. However, it is not very deep and should be overgrown by May 18th.

I think that Usik’s team has considered all possible options for Fury’s behavior, and they will prepare Alexander in excellent shape for May 18th. Just Usyk has time to recharge and stop by the camp again. In general, I think that despite all the problems with this fight, Alexander should win,” the specialist said.
